Dr. Kirsten Seelenbinder, DVM was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science in 2012, followed by her Master’s in Animal and Poultry Science at Virginia Tech. She then moved to the Caribbean to pursue her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Back stateside, she finished clinicals at the University of Florida, 2017 and is now joining us at the Animal Medical Center. Kirsten has special interest in surgery, internal medicine, and preventative medicine. Her love for her work is evident in her caring manner and ever-present smile!
Kirsten is married and has two Coconut retrievers, Charlie and Tweed, both rescue dogs from her time in the Caribbean. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, and painting. She’s been bitten by the travel bug and would like to continue to explore the world.
